Triangle Alumnae Panhellenic

As a recent college graduate, I have made it my mission to find ways to remain involved with Greek life.  It was a huge part of my college experience, and I wanted to make sure it was a part of my “grown up” life as well.  When I heard that Triangle Alumnae Panhellenic (TAP) was looking for board members, I instantly jumped on the opportunity.  Haven’t heard of TAP?  No problem!  TAP serves as the umbrella organization for sorority alumnae chapters in the Triangle, with 11 participating NPC member groups.  We coordinate events for Greek women in the Triangle to have the opportunity to connect and form friendships.  Many of you probably had a friend in college who was a member of another organization; TAP is a wonderful way to continue to build connections with other Greek women.  You can find us on Facebook, Twitter and even Pinterest!  We love to promote various events for alumnae chapters, as well as collegiate chapters, so please email us at to let us know about upcoming events!

I currently serve as VP-Public Relations, meaning I handle all of the social media, e-vites and promotion of the group.  The past few years have been rough for TAP, so this is a rebuilding year.  We’re always looking for ideas and suggestions for how to improve the organization and help it reach it’s full potential.  If you’re interested in joining the board, or holding an appointed office, elections will be held in April.  You could also be the KD AC’s delegate, and go get all the scoop TAP has to offer.  TAP is a really great way to get to know other sorority women and share ideas to help strengthen your alumnae chapter.

I highly recommend getting involved with TAP.  It has been extremely beneficial for me.  Being new to the area, I am always excited to make new friendships and have fun ways to fill my free time.  I feel privileged to have been able to be a part of the think tank to begin the re-building process for TAP.  Even if you just like TAP on Facebook, or follow their Twitter and Pinterest, you can really gain some great insight into Greek Life as a whole, and see what others are up to in the Triangle.
